A hot rodded custom shaped body and custom painted tele style guitar. The body on this one is basswood, so it's much lighter than my usual ash bodied offerings. Great for long gig sets. The guitar body was custom made for me, then I shaped and sanded the arm relief and belly relief. I used a pendulum and splatter style paint job. I sanded and repainted this 2-3 times until I got the cracked finish I was looking for. It's hand finished and painted, so expect some'non-factory' finish blems here and there.

It's not some mass produced item from some nameless factory in a place where they pump out 1,000 at a time. I named this one "National Disasterpiece" because it kind of looks like how many of us feel about 2020.... This guitar paint is texturally heavy and you can feel all the rows of paint, drips, etc.. Then I clear coated it 6-8 coats of a hard semi matte 2 part automotive grade finish.

The paint is prevalent and can be seen and felt. I like the feel of the finish. I used a Floyd copy, high output invader style pickups (15k/9k), standard 3 way telecaster switching, elliptical strap lock pins, and I included the Floyd allen wrenches on the back of the headstock.

A 12 radius maple neck is easy to play and I have strung it with a 9-42 EB slinky set. It's a "partscaster" so expect a nice, well playing guitar, but there's no way to make these perfect. A perfect guitar like this would probably have to come from a custom shop, and we know how pricey one of those babies can get. If you are local and wish to pick it up, contact me first, please.

Everyone who has bought one of my builds has been extremely happy. I do this for fun, and to cover the costs to be able donate two guitars per year to charity.
