Harley Benton FanFret-8 NT Progressive QEB 2018 Green 8 String Guitar Multiscale
Ordered from Thomman and is a fantastic instrument if you're looking to get involved with extended range and fanned fret instruments. There are no no shiny marks from playing on either the body or neck, no dings, no deep scratches on this satin finish.
This guitar is essentially in brand new condition for a used guitar price. This model in particular is also fairly rare to find these days. Has never been gigged with and only used in my home studio.
Features a neck-thru body with a quilted maple top. The neck-thru design combined with the satin finish makes it a very fast instrument.
Upper access to higher frets is also super comfortable. Comes equipped with Harley Benton locking tuners. I've never had a problem tuning this instrument or having it hold tune.
The nut is plastic, but I've encountered no issues with string binding. The pickups are Roswell passive pickups that are custom-made for this guitar. They have a nice growl to them on the chugs and excellent clarity on high leads, but if you don't like these pickups, they are active mount so you should be able to replace them with Fishman's, EMG's, SD Blackouts, etc. The bridge is also custom-made for this model of guitar with individually adjustable saddles and it's very comfortable to palm mute. This guitar oozes with price/performance ratio. It comes equipped with many features that you only find on premium instruments and it carries the reputation of Harley Benton with it.
