JP6 is the original Music Man John Petrucci signature model and was designed in conjunction with Dream Theater's John Petrucci.

This is the 7 string version of the JP6 and it is a versatile workhorse. The lightweight and resonant Basswood body features a high gloss polyester durable Pearl Red Burst finish with stylish lines and an ergonomic scooped arm countour. The extended forearm cut makes marathon gigs and sessions more comfortable. 24 wide, high profile, stainless steel frets and custom JP Shield inlays are highlighted on the ultra thin and fast select Maple neck that is finished in a gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blend. The custom John Petrucci Music Man Piezo floating tremolo is constructed of chrome plated hardened steel with solid steel saddles and allows for raising and lowering of the pitch with impeccable tuning stability.

With the flick of a switch you'll be able to take your JP7 from scorching hot tone to a beautiful, open acoustic sound, making this one of the most versatile guitars around. According to Petrucci, these pickups produce the best studio and live sound he's ever had. Equipped with Schaller M6-IND locking tuners and an adjustable truss rod with no component or string removal necessary, making changing strings a breeze. Comes with the Music Man hardshell case pictured.
