Custom Original design Violin-style electric guitar, Fancy neck

  

Hiya from Jim Wright Guitars. I'm a hobby builder and former music store guitar tech. I have been refurbishing and building guitars for over 40 years. Some of these I build for my own use (see my YouTube channel: Jim Wright, where I demo several of my instruments), others to sell.

I put this one together 4 or 5 years ago, but have seldom played it, meaning it is in new/excellent condition. Body: My original-design solidbody "Guitfiddle"--sorta LP-style w/ fiddle cutouts; has a tummy cutout, plus a top forearm bevel; Plain hard Maple top on a Basswood core, aged blonde, clear gloss finish. Neck: Maple, w/ a Rosewood fretboard; 25.5" scale; has a slim C-shape; 12" radius; jumbo frets; Abalone and MOP flowers/vines inlays; Rosewood veneer on the headstock. Electronics: Jerry Sentell humbucker (about 13K, w/ fiber bobbins and 1/4 AlNiCo slugs, which I sealed in a black cover); volume & tone controls, selector, output jack.

Note that as this is a handmade, hand finished instruments, there will be some small irregularities in the woodwork or finish. The tone is bright and punchy. 1 gig bag is included.
