1992 Ibanez RG 470 MIJ Wiz 1 Original Edge Emerald Green

  

Here we have a 1992 Ibanez RG 470 EG (Emerald Green). These original square heel Ibanez are being more and more sought after these days. These 1st year 470's share almost everything with the 570, except for the Tilt heel and barrel jack.

The Emerald Green color is very cool. Nice and deep and metallic in person, but hard to photo. There is a bit of clear coat yellowing in some areas as these are prone to do.

The body, as seen in the pics, is nice condition with no edge chips like many of these have. There are a few small scratches here and there. The neck pocket does not have the cracks that are found in most of these either.

The trem looks to be in very good shape, no pitting and little if any finish wear. Same with the knobs, etc.

The tuners do have some finish worn off on the rear side. There is some wear and tarnishing on alot of the hardware screws. The frets have a bunch of life left. There is just the tiniest of some chording divots on just a couple of the lower frets. The original wizard necks are known to be some of the fastest best playing beasts out there. There are NO locking nut cracks like most of these get. The truss rod functions well. The electronics work as they should with no scratchiness in the pots or switch. This does not have a bar with it. As with any guitar, you will probably have to set it up to YOUR liking, but it plays well right now. It does not come with a case but I do have some options for a bit of extra coin if needed.
